Example Case Study 

One of our manufacturing clients was looking for a new Group MD with a package of £250k.  
We had regularly recruited a number of junior and middle manager roles for this client.  
They met with 2 “Executive Recruitment Global Talent Business’s” and the cash rich business also met with us.  
They decided to go with the 2 Executive Recruitment business’s who both asked for a large retainer lump sum upfront each!  
After 3 months the Group HR Director contacted us and said their board was frustrated with the calibre of candidates being put forward: 
 
1. The candidates had inflated salary expectations and were being put forward on package expectations  
ranging from £330k - £400k which was much higher than the £250k they had budgeted 
2. Some of the candidates did not have direct relevant manufacturing experience! 
 
The Group HR Director asked us to start looking – Results were: 
1. We found them 6 candidates within 3 weeks 
2. All 6 candidates were within budget 
3. All 6 candidates had direct manufacturing experience related to their industry
